Cantor Fitzgerald Merchant Banking provides discreet and rapid investment capital to pursue control transactions in profitable businesses on a global basis.

We focus on growth sectors of the economy – financial, environmental, real estate services, gaming and healthcare – in which there is minimal risk of technological change and limited cyclicality. We seek out companies with sustainable competitive positions, fundamentally sound operations and strong management that have a multi-year history of profitability and the ability to support prudent levels of leverage.

We typically engage in transactions valued up to $250 million, although we will consider partnering on larger transactions. Our capital may sponsor a management buyout, a leveraged recapitalization, a going-private transaction, or provide funding for growth. Investment horizon is tailored to corporate strategy, but holding periods generally vary from three to seven years.
